Testicular cancer starts in the testicles, the male reproductive glands located in the scrotum and it is most common in young to middle-aged men.
It is also more common in men with:
- Abnormal testicle development
- Undescended testicle
- Family history of the cancer
Symptoms can include pain, swelling or lumps in testicles or groin area. Most cases could be treated if it is diagnosed early. Treatment can include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Regular exams after treatment are critical.
